Tracking Martin

Well, tracking Martin, the delivery driver, is much like tracking Santa Claus... but you can really narrow Santa's delivery schedule down to one night.

Martin drives a truck specially fitted to deliver these kits. And that's all he delivers. So he set out from Boston, went by Georgia, then Florida, then he had two deliveries for Amarillo.

On Saturday, Martin told Rob he'd be here Tuesday. Rob reminded him that was Christmas Day, so Martin said he'd be here late Monday. Hmmmm... not much better, since it's Christmas Eve.

On Monday, Martin said he'd deliver first thing Wednesday morning.

Late on Monday, Martin said he'd be here at 10 am Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Martin said he'd be here in the afternoon on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, Martin had a flat tire, and he said he'd be here about 8 pm.

At 6, the celebratory pizza and beer were here. But no cobra.

At 8, Martin said he'd be here about 11.

At 10, Martin called from Childress. He said he'd be rolling in about 12:30 Thursday morning. We told Martin that the next morning would be fine. He said he'd be here about 9.

At 9:40, Martin rolled in. And as you can see, there was much rejoicing.
